We are looking for an Operational Excellence Manager to lead this transformation at the FrieslandCampina location Leeuwarden. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing Operational Excellence (OpEx) strategies, driving continuous performance improvements, and steering the Performance+ transformation and savings agenda.

- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in a similar role within manufacturing or supply chain; hands-on experience at a production site is a strong advantage;
- Proven success in leading transformational change with measurable operational and financial outcomes;
- Deep knowledge of Lean, TPM, TRACC, and ideally Asset Management or Maintenance practices;
- Demonstrated experience in Operational Excellence, change management, and project execution;
- Strong understanding of financial principles related to manufacturing, including cost savings identification, budgeting, and ROI analysis;
- Proficiency in performance and financial monitoring tools, such as OEE, loss analysis, cost modeling, and savings tracking systems;
- Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills in complex, matrixed organizations;
- Proficiency in both Dutch and English;
- Suitable previous roles may include: Plant Manager, Production Manager, Logistics Manager or OpEx Manager.

As our Operational Excellence Manager, you will:
- Drive Operational Excellence in key areas such as OEE, labor productivity, preventive maintenance, mindset & behavior, and capability development
- Manage the CI agenda according to OWOW and Performance + saving program on behalf of the Site Director to realize capability building and yearly savings
- Conduct performance and financial analyses, assess capabilities, and develop future-state roadmaps with clear cost-saving and value-creation targets
- Ensure proper follow-through and escalation for critical initiatives, ensuring alignment with business and financial objectives
- Leverage your financial acumen to connect operational improvements with business impact, ensuring transparency and accountability in savings delivery
- Coordinate and develop facilitator resources for multi-disciplinary problem solving sessions on plant and site
- Lead development of strategic plan on OpEx for Site Leeuwarden, challenge the plant managers and cooperate with them and create buy in for the strategy/action plans etc. from the site MT
- Coach, manage and develop the CI team, be the functional lead towards the plants

在领英上查看所有同事You will lead and coach your team (3-4 hierarchical and 5 functional direct reports). You will be part of the Site Management Team of Leeuwarden, reporting to the Site director, your CI team members are part of the various Plant management teams on site.
Site Leeuwarden contains of various (evaporated milk, sweetened condensed milk, cans) factories, a utility plant and a large warehouse/distribution. The dependency between all these units is high and rather complex.
