In the role of Product Group Manager Sidestreams & Sustainability you create both business and sustainable impact. The role knows two main responsibilities.You develop and roll-out sustainability driven valuepropositions based on the environmental footprint of our products. These propositions help our customers meet theirsustainability targets, whilst generating funds to further propel sustainability on dairy farms and in our factories.
Your second responsibility is to manage the portfolio of side- and reststreams that result from our proteinand prebioticsproduction processes.You lead projects that unlock the potential value of these streams (e.g. for production of bioplastics or green gas), ensure business continuity and handle operational questions. Like a spider in a web, you connect the dots between supply chain, sales teams, R&D, corporate sustainability and external parties.

In this role, you will be pioneering with urgency. With your business background, you understand data and financials and know how to create value for customers, stakeholders and FrieslandCampina. You relate and work well with people from different disciplines and background. You have demonstrable experience in managing multidisciplinary projects. It is a pré, if you have experience in sustainability and understand some physics, but this is not mandatory. You are inquisitive, result-oriented and are known to drive action.
Besides that you have:
- Academic/Master level
- > 7 years of experience
- Proficiency in Dutch and English
- Experience in commercial roles in B2B ,ideally complemented with experience in R&
- Experienced working in a large corporate, being able to create impact and manage stakeholders
- Financial literacy to build business cases

Employment benefits:
• Salary between €5,250 and €7,150 gross per month (full-time), depending on experience and fit for the role.
• A work week of 32 to 38 hours, a 5% year-end allowance, 12,5% company bonus, 8% holiday allowance and a pension scheme.
• Hybrid working with flexible working hours, a train card and/or €0.23 per km (max. 30 km one way).
• 200 hours of annual leave, with the option to buy or sell up to 40 hours.

- Develop and Implement your product group strategy
- Actively identify and create opportunities for your product group, together with sales, R&D and the segment teams.
- Driving profitability by applying value pricing, developing value propositions and driving the contract mix of your product group
- Understand how dairy markets influence our commercial strategy and translate this to insights for your fellow product managers and sales colleagues
- Execute Product Portfolio Management to make sure your specifications and productfamilies remain in accordance with trends and legislative developments
- Contribute to innovation projects by taking ownership for implementation and product documentation
- Improving profitability of your product group by initiating (value) engineering projects
