Manager Operations Balkbrug
As the Operations Manager you are responsible for the entire production, packaging and planning organization within the factory of Balkbrug. You ensure the flawless execution of the operational plan to achieve the factory's strategy and contribute to the objectives of FrieslandCampina. You oversee and optimize the day-to-day activities of the factory in Balkbrug to ensure efficient and effective business operations. This role is key to maintaining smooth processes, improving productivity, reducing costs, and ensuring that the organization meets its strategic goals.

As operations Manager Balkbrug you are responsible for the entire daily 'Run' organization and execution of the Improve plans set by the Multi site leadership team (MSLT).
Safety:
- Responsible for monitoring on a daily basis safety in the factory and proper follow-up of unsafe situations.
- Responsible for operational environment performance inline with permits and responsible for proper actions in case of issues and if needed esacalations towards multisite and/ or central team.
Process Optimization:
- Streamlining and improving workflows to enhance efficiency and productivity.
- Identifying and addressing bottlenecks and inefficiencies.
Team Leadership:
- Managing and motivating teams (in total approximately 75 FTE) to ensure high performance.
- Ensuring adequate training and resources for staff to perform their roles effectively.
Resource Management:
- Overseeing the allocation and utilization of resources (personnel, equipment, materials).
- Ensuring smooth operations through proper staffing and resource planning.
Quality Control:
- Monitoring and maintaining product or service quality standards.
- Implementing measures to ensure consistent quality.
Budget and Cost Management:
- Developing and managing operational budgets.
- Controlling costs while maintaining operational efficiency and quality.
Strategic Planning and Execution:
- Collaborating with senior management to develop operational strategies.
- Aligning day-to-day operations with the company's overall goals.
Performance Monitoring:
- Tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess daily and weekly operations.
- Analyzing data to identify areas for improvement and making adjustments as needed.

Voir tous les collègues sur LinkedInAs Operations Manager, you will be a member of the Multi-Site Leadership Team (MSLT), which oversees our Balkbrug, Marum, and Steenderen locations. In this role, you will report directly to the Multisite Manufacturing Director.
In our factory in Balkbrug, you will lead a 24/7 manufacturing and packaging operation with approximately 75 FTE. You will have direct responsibility for the Shift Managers in Production as well as the Team Leads for Planning and Warehouse.
Collaboration is at the heart of this role. You will partner closely with on-site support teams. such as Safety, Quality, Technology, and Finance - to ensure seamless operations and drive continuous improvement. In addition, you will engage with central functions including HR, Learning & Development, and Operational Excellence to align strategies and foster best practices across the organization.
