Business IT Analyst (VAT)
As our Business IT Analyst (VAT), you will improve & optimize business processes and technology solutions by designing and implementing effective new and/or enhanced E2E process and technology solutions for VAT (Value Added Tax) related flows. The job balances fit for purpose solutions, process automation, and template adherence. For this, a thorough understanding of the business domains/process cycles and its impact on VAT is essential.

- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience specifically in the field of VAT,
- Graduate or post-graduate degree in a scientific field
- Expert knowledge of VAT flows, business setup and SAP system integration
Good understanding of relevant accounting flows in Accounts payable, Record to Report.
Know how of SAP (FICO and integration) & Coupa, preferably Meridian (or similar)
Strong communication skills
Diligent documentation skills

- Understand E2E business processes and translate business problems and value opportunities into process and technology solutions.
- Analyze and refine functional and non-functional requirements for delivering the necessary IT service to business focused on VAT / Sales tax and the related system setup.
- Liaise with the service development team to suggest a high-level functional solution and highlight/identify gaps in existing functionality and review requirements with stakeholders.
- Coordinate and realize business process excellence via IT supported process solutions (Delivering value that meets business needs / Safeguarding global FrieslandCampina policies, principles & objectives).
- Support to embed change, continuous improvement and innovation into business operations. Second line support for solution specialist.
- Assess and validate solution options within Coupa/SAP/Meridian or alternative solutions.
- Develop project rationale and perform scoping assessments to determine feasibility of projects.
- Develop a comprehensive requirement specifications that will determine the estimate of cost, time and resources to deploy solutions.
- Be the point of contact for change requests and support the VAT roadmap of the Indirect Tax team and support Manage process re-design and deployment, including business adoption.
- Coordinate continuous improvements in consultation with BPO despite status quo (lobbying, convincing).
- Balances fit for purpose solutions, process automation, and template adherence.
