Fixing what matters
Clement, innovating and curious by nature, is currently service delivery manager in network services. He is leading the transformation of FrieslandCampina’s network industry globally, modernising legacy systems and has recently introduced a more future-proof, efficient solution. “When there’s a faulty washing machine or kettle, I’m always the first one to take it apart, figure out what’s wrong, buy the part, and fix it. I grew up in a household where you don’t throw things away if they can be repaired, and that mindset stuck with me. I’ve realised I bring the same attitude to work. When a production line goes down or a process fails, I don’t see it as a setback but as something that can be fixed and improved. And that's exactly how we work at FrieslandCampina," Clement explains.

Mindset over skillset
For Clement, true fulfilment lies in finding the right balance between personal growth, well-being, and meaningful work. Staying active helps him maintain a positive mindset and perform at his best. “FrieslandCampina genuinely supports that balance,” he says. “Through regular conversations with my manager, we take time to reflect on what we’ve achieved and how we’ve grown.” That sense of progress isn’t limited to the workplace. “What truly matters to me is the feeling of belonging within our team,” Clement explains. “We create space for people to pursue their passions and align personal and professional goals. If there’s something you want to achieve personally, we’ll explore how your work can support that journey.” It’s this alignment between personal development and team support that shapes Clement’s perspective. “Skills can always be learned,” he concludes, “but it’s attitude and character that truly make the difference, both in life and at work.” That’s why, when building his team, Clement looks for people who share that mindset: individuals who are curious, committed, and open to growth.
