R&D Development Specialist Encaps, C&T liquids
Are you a hero in getting things done and looking for a pivotal role in R&D to implement new and improved products for our Kievit brand in our factories? For our R&D Professional team Encaps, C&T liquid in Wageningen, we are looking for a Development Specialist Encaps who can aims higher in quality and speed in execution.
You’ll develop and optimize encapsulated fat powders (Encaps) for beverage applications, tailored to strategic customer needs. With a strong foundation in food science and technology, a hands-on mindset and focus on improvement you lead New Product Development and Renovation projects to deliver business growth. In this role you will be the linking pin between R&D and supply chain focusing on product quality and fast implementation of new and improved products. Furthermore you will work closely with together with various stakeholders as Marketing , Sales, Technology and QA.
Ce que nous demandons
- MSc in Food Science or Food Technology.
- 3+ years of experience in product development in Food industry, preferably B2B.
- Expertise in dairy technology (spray drying, emulsions, food physics and chemistry).
- Experience with beverage applications.
- Hands-on lab and pilot plant experience.
- Digital savvy.
- Curious, collaborative, and result driven.
- Acting with speed and accuracy, strong focus on improvement.
- Strong skills in experimental design, data analysis, and reporting.
- Good communication skills, teamworker.

As a Development Specialist Encaps C&T liquid you will:
- Lead development and implementation of new product innovations for Encaps.
- Supports to implement new R&D development technology in our supply chain.
- Lead improvement of existing products, processes and applications such as contingency, value engineering, product performance improvement.
- Support Supply Chain driven projects such as CAPEX investments, continuous improvement projects.
Lead recipe transfers between our factories;
Responsible to implement new and improved products according to defined technical requirements, securing robust production, clearance and documentation.
Initiate and organize product and application tests on various scales (lab, pilot, factory), including analysis and interpretation of results incorporated in well-written reports.
Present findings to relevant stakeholders and peers and drives decision making;
Improve ways of working with our supply chain network to deliver with high quality and speed.
R&D representative for change management.
Work together with various stakeholders across the company, including marketing, sales, supply chain, research, QA, technology & Procurement.

You’ll join a strategic R&D team of 20 professionals working on Encaps C&T Liquid across EMEA and Asia. Based in Wageningen, you’ll work closely with Category Marketing, Supply Chain, QA/RA, Procurement, Sales, and external partners.
