Reward Manager

Responsible for providing best practise expertise in the activation of global reward solutions to attract, motivate and retain employees through competitive, exciting, relevant and cost-effective reward solutions that drive superior performance in the cluster.

Generates insights into reward dynamics of the talent market in the cluster and communicates these to the Global Reward  of the geography.

Ensures the consistent activation of reward strategies, systems, processes, policies and tools in the cluster.

  • Able to help resolve information problems and queries or know where to refer problem
  • Able to simplify technical and complex information to a general audience
  • Knowledge of internal processes and policies implementation experience
  • First degree in Social Science/Arts/other relevant disciplines
  • MBA/MSC
  • CIPM/CIPD/SHRM

Reward Strategy

  • Develop country-specific reward strategies and communications by aligning to the local context, the global reward solutions in areas such as base pay, variable pay, benefits, salary structures, reward packages, reward benchmarking and job evaluations

 

  • Formulate and implement reward policies in line with FrieslandCampina guidelines so as to have approved HR policies and procedures. Communicates management decisions and policies to staff and unions in line with company policy and procedure in order to keep employees adequately informed.

 

Reward Benchmarking

  • Establish and maintain effective relationships with external compensation services providers

 

  • Manages the reward benchmarking process in relation to defining requirements for annual/periodic analyses of competitor market pay/adjustments, developing specialized surveys for particular job positions, participating in third party competitive surveys, conducting trend analysis and best practise research

 

  • Generates conclusions and actions on the basis of the survey results. Gains approval from the Global Reward Expert of the geography for the actions

 

  • Implements key reward management activities within areas such as job evaluations, exceptions to job levels outside current organisation structure, etc with the approval of the Global Reward Expert

 

Reward Trends

  • Engages with the function HRBPs to gain insights into reward trends and their implications on the dynamics of the talent markets across the cluster.

 

  • Engages with leaders of businesses, categories and functions in the country/cluster as well as their HRBPs to align their expectations to the global approach on reward.

 

  • Share internal and external best practices amongst members of the reward expertise team.

 

 

Budget Planning

  • Drive the annual people cost budget planning process for the cluster in line with business and workforce plans of each country

 

Reward Administration

  • Ensures that reward solutions are activated/delivered across the cluster consistently and are compliant with FrieslandCampina’ s internal process standards and external regulatory requirements
  • Manage the reward programmes of senior leadership team across the cluster

 

Expatriate Management

  • Ensures that LTA & STA/CBC programmes are managed effectively and efficiently by ensuring applicable policies are translated to local practices and well executed.

 

  • Manage inbound expatriates, account managing each case for accommodation, schooling, support moving services and transition
