As laboratory technician you support the innovation and technical solutions team of DFE Pharma with analysis on excipients (powders) to understand its functionality in the application (tablets and inhalation). In this role, you are responsible to manage the inventory of the laboratory, and ensure availability of all basic materials like disposables, ingredients and equipment. You are coordinating the maintenance of all R&D equipment and systems, and you support your colleagues to realise R&D projects and objectives by preparing and executing experiments and tests.

Education in pharmacy, physical chemistry, lab technology or related
Comfortable in using the English language
>3 years of experience in laboratory or pilot environment
Powder characterization experience

Manage the laboratory inventory and ensure availability of all basic materials like disposables, ingredients and equipment according to guidelines and health and safety regulations
Maintain, improve and actualise laboratory equipment and validate and calibrate equipment regularly in accordance with applicable guidelines
Support colleagues with the planning, setting-up, execution and reporting of experiments according to the agreed test set-up
Collect and analyse results of executed experiments according to test setup, and summarise, analyse, interpret and report results in the appropriate systems
Issue advice at request or at own initiative based on own expertise
