Project Manager
Within the Business Group Global Supply Chain Strategy, we are looking for an experienced Project Manager for our Supply Chain projects.
As Project Manager you are responsible to deliver complex, multidisciplinary programs such as milk logistics optimization studies, network optimizations, commercialisation and partnership projects with a strategic importance for the company for all business product groups.
You manage a multidisciplinary team consisting of a.o. Sales Managers, S&OP Manager, Plant Managers, Master data, Third Parties, Print Development, CapEx project manager, etc. You are responsible from design up to start-up of the programs.
What we ask
- A Master's degree (or equivalent) in a relevant field.
- 7+ years of work experience, with a proven ability to manage projects within time and budget constraints, while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
- Familiarity with project management methodologies
- Strong analytical, results-oriented mindset, with the ability to motivate teams and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Willingness to travel for work as needed.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage in complex business decision-making with senior leaders (Top 200 and Top 70) at FrieslandCampina.

Vacancy description
As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of key projects that aim to translate business strategy into a comprehensive supply chain strategy. These projects will focus on critical supply chain elements such as transportation, milk types, and flexibility, with the goal of optimizing member milk valorization, reducing costs, and serving our customers effectively. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and present well-founded proposals for decision-making to the steering committee.
In this role, you will lead a team consisting of members from QA, Sales, Marketing, Plant, S&OP, Commercialization, and more, ensuring that the team delivers a balanced proposal that aligns with the best interests of FrieslandCampina. You will be the decisive and persuasive leader, capable of managing differing opinions and ensuring alignment across the team. You will also draft detailed project plans, dive deep into program drivers, and challenge initial assumptions where necessary, always ensuring that the programs are delivered within budget and on schedule without compromising quality or safety.
Your exceptional communication and organizational skills will be key in fostering commitment from stakeholders and motivating the team to deliver the best possible solutions. You will monitor the team's progress, manage project risks, and ensure compliance with the project plan while balancing the interests of diverse stakeholders, including those from Marketing, Sales, Operations, R&D, and Maintenance. Your ability to perform under pressure, along with your coaching skills, will inspire and guide your colleagues to develop their potential.
