What we ask

As a Logistics Account Manager you have:

  • Degree in business administration, with a focus on Supply Chain;

  • At least 4 years of relevant working experience within Supply Chain in the FMCG or Retail where you gained a strong affinity with and broad knowledge of logistical processes; 

  • Substantial knowledge of the entire supply chain and its processes; 

  • Substantial knowledge of Microstrategy and PowerBI; 

  • Good communication skills and fluent in German and English;

  • An engaging personality with strong communication and stakeholder management skills; 

  • The following competencies: customer-oriented, result-driven, analytical, team player, pro-active, perseverant.

Vacancy description

As Logistics Account Manager you are responsible for the optimal delivery to our German B2C customers.

You actively contribute to developing and realizing the (logistical) targets within the Customer Supply Chain team. Your work area entails the entire portfolio of fresh and ambient dairy as well as cheese and butter. You take care of an optimal balance between maximal customer-focused service and minimal logistical costs in close cooperation with your colleagues from the Customer Service team and other internal stakeholders such as Sales and several Supply Chain disciplines.

 

As a Logistics Account Manager you have periodic meetings with both the customers and internal stakeholders to develop the most efficient cooperation. You develop and maintain a strong relationship with your contacts. As Logistics Account manager you identify the internal processes, specific customer needs, and targets, to translate those to customer-focused action plans for logistical optimization. You track, evaluate, and report periodic logistical performance on customer level.

By setting up a constructive cooperation, you initiate improvements together with Sales. Supply Chain and other disciplines. Besides that you have a decisive role in making logistical agreements with the customers. Together with the Customer Services team, responsible for i.e. order processing, returns and complaints, you take care of excellent operational communication and execution towards our customers. To contribute to organizational growth and further professionalization, you play a role in several (multi-disciplinary) optimization projects. These evolve around themes like efficiency, sustainability, service level, and market development.

 

You play an important role in change management (implementation) in the field of logistics between FrieslandCampina and the customer or market in line with the commercial and Customer Supply Chain strategies.
