We are seeking for passionate and analytical Cost Accountant Analyst to join our Supply Chain Finance team. In this role you are responsible for the product costing for one of FrieslandCampina's Supply Chain Clusters.

  • HBO/WO Bachelor/Master's degree in accounting, economics or business administration
  • 2 years+ work experience
  • Relevant work experience (supply chain finance, transfer pricing, product costing)
  • Affinity with (financial) systems; proficient in Excel/Powerpoint and experience with SAP

Vacancy description

This role is in the Global Cost Price Team, part of the Global Supply Chain Finance responsible for the internal cost prices. The team acts as a linking pin between the supply chain clusters (i.e. plants) and the business groups (i.e. GtM’s). As a team you are responsible for a.o. monthly product costing, full cost price transparency (incl. outlook), improving and standardizing global cost price process standards and driving digital transformation (PowerBi/Cost Price Transparency).

As a Cost Accountant you are responsible for the (monthly) product costing of the plants in one of the supply chain clusters. In accordance with RFC Cost Price policies you update the internal cost prices and analyze the deviations. On annual basis you are responsible for setting the new standard cost price on conversion (e.g. maintenance of SAP tariffs & tables). You work together with the Cost Price Controlling Analysts on data for the outlook and other business queries (e.g. NPDs).

Accountabilities

  • Monthly Product costing of the plants within your cluster;
  • Annual conversion cost price update;
  • First point of contact for cost price queries of your cluster;
  • Profound understanding of RFC Cost Price Principles;
  • Work together with Cost Price Controlling Analyst to support business stakeholders with cost price queries (e.g. NPDs, tenders).

The team exist of both Cost Price Controlling Analysts and Cost Accountants and you will work closely together with the team members responsible for other clusters/business groups to drive efficiency and improvements. You will report to the Cost Price team lead.
