This means that you will be able to manage project teams that have a full end to end scope from ideation (new idea) to commercial launch in 1 project (R&D, CAPEX, marketing work packages combined). As a project manager you will be responsible for activity and resource planning, organizing and motivating a project team, cost estimating and developing the budget, analyzing and managing project risks, monitoring progress, etc. In addition, you will manage stakeholders in sales, supply chain, product group management and R&D to secure resources and make sure we work on the right priorities for our customers.
In this job, you will be responsible for project teams that develop protein-based ingredients (whey specialties, hydrolysates) from lab scale to pilot to full scale including registration and clearance to get the new ingredients ready for production and sales in the market. Project teams are usually multidisciplinary involving R&D (e.g., experts in process technology, nutrition, analytics), supply chain and commercial colleagues (e.g., marketing or sales).
You will execute development projects with sufficient understanding of the content (raw materials, specifications, shelf life, production processes, process-product interactions). For new projects you are able to set up a project plan and arrange resources from relevant stakeholders in line with the project plan and think of ways to organize it according to the FrieslandCampina way of working (stage gate process or agile).
