Wat we vragen
- Education: A solid financial background with a university degree in Finance, Economics, or similar.
- Experience: Minimum of 4 years in relevant roles (e.g., controlling or consulting).
- Skills: Proficiency in BI Tooling (PowerBI), along with strong MS Office skills (Excel and PowerPoint). Experience with SAP, Salesforce and project management tooling is a plus.
- Language: Full professional proficiency in English.

We are looking for a Commercial Controller Innovation to be based in Amersfoort. In this role, you’ll be part of the Customer Connectivity Finance team, working closely with the Manager Commercial Controlling Innovation. Your primary responsibility is to partner with senior stakeholders across Marketing, Product Group Management, Sales, R&D, and Supply Chain to drive the innovation finance agenda and support FCI’s ambitious growth plan.
Your main responsibilities are:
Contributing to Innovation & Business Development Controlling:
- Drive the reporting and performance cycle for innovation, ensuring we’re on track to achieve our mid-term goals.
- Provide proactive recommendations for corrective actions based on periodical reports and project progress.
- Support the annual innovation outlook process and develop leading indicators to drive data-driven commercial execution (using tools like PowerBI).
Driving Innovation Governance & New Product Development (NPD):
- Act as the finance business partner for NPD insights during Innovation Portfolio Meetings.
- Support the Manager in overseeing NPD projects, serving as the finance gatekeeper during stage gate approval meetings.
Providing Ad-Hoc Finance Support for NPD & Strategic Projects:
- Collaborate with various functions, ensuring robust financial analyses and effective decision-making for NPD projects.
- Challenge and support business cases to assess commercial feasibility and value creation.
Continuous Improvement in Innovation Controlling Infrastructure:
- Maintain and enhance reporting and controlling standards.
- Lead initiatives to automate recurring reports and streamline processes to drive greater efficiency and value creation.
