Global eCommerce Key Account Manager

This role will drive Specialized Nutrition eCommerce performance (sell-in and sell-out) on the eCommerce shopping platforms that we play in, by leading the annual joint business planning efforts with local and regional stakeholders to ensure win-win outcome in line with the busines objectives of the business group and countries.  The role will also manage relationships and drive projects to achieve and maintain a leadership position within our categories, so as to achieve market share and brand ranking target.

Wat we vragen

  • A Bachelor Degree in marketing/business or relevant discipline 
  • At least 5 - 7 years of experience in eCommerce channel management / key account management / trade marketing for an FMCG brand, with a keen interest in digital marketing and related technologies. Or at least 5 - 7 years of experience in brand management / category development / digital marketing with P&L ownership for a brand or eCommerce shopping platform, who would like to move into a sales/ account management role for an FMCG brand

Customer Strategy and Leadership

  • Translate the global eCommerce strategy to the key eCommerce accounts in respective countries
  • Supports eShopper marketing in defining the 4P (Price, Promotion, Product and Placement) strategy for the key eCommerce accounts
  • Develop strategic relationships based on category, shopper and channel understanding
  • Implement regional Joint Business Planning (JBP) process with regional counterparts
  • Lead country teams to implement local eCommerce JBPs and deliver on aligned targets
  • Supports countries on commercial negotiations and issues on a regional level to help deliver on customer sales and profitability targets
  • Work with regional eShopper and Brand Marketing teams to plan regional and local activations
  • Continuously review major activations to optimize and share key learnings and best practices
  • Provide additional perspective and outside-in thinking on industry trends to help accelerate eCommerce growth


eCommerce Marketing

  • Works with internal and external parties on the development, execution, and optimization of eCommerce marketing strategies (on-site and off-site media)
  • Instil the discipline of ROI/ROAS in eCommerce marketing efforts on our eCommerce shopping platforms


eCommerce Operations

  • Responsible to track and improve day-to-day management of store operations and on-site fundamentals within eCommerce shopping platforms, so as to deliver the best shopping experience
  • Manage distribution/ logistics partner in order to ensure fulfilment KPIs and SLA are met
  • Build strategic partnerships with selected third parties for the long-term, based on shared KPIs and interests


Reporting, Testing and Optimization

  • Systematically monitor and report details of results on key KPIs and drivers
  • Drive & implement a continuous process of hypothesizing, implementing, evaluating, and learning for key projects/activations
  • Sharing of performance, learnings and recommendations to key stakeholders


Project Management

  • Manages multiple projects involving eCommerce shopping platforms simultaneously to drive commercial performance
  • Works with cross-functional, cross-BG, local and regional stakeholders and agencies to achieve target deliverables within set timelines


Capability Building

  • Develop scalable templates, toolkits and playbooks to increase efficiency in countries
  • Conduct related trainings and facilitate best practice sharing to improve eCommerce capabilities within country and Business Group teams
