Regional Sales Manager

The Sales Manager will serve in a specialized role to identify new business opportunities for our product launches with new and existing accounts, and grow our business for the existing functional ingredient portfolio (consisting of caseinates, milk and whey proteins) with focus on the gut health, active lifestyle, adult and performance nutrition segments to win in the market.
The Sales Manager is responsible for building a pipeline of sustainable customers and profitable growth in Asia Pacific region. To achieve this, the incumbent shall partner with colleagues in a variety of functions such as technical sales support, marketing, product management and R&D to execute sales strategies and new value propositions while identifying and delivering on key customer needs for our ingredients and services.
Wat we vragen
Bachelor's degree in Food & Nutrition or relevant field; additional degree in Business Administration preferred
At least 5-7 years of Sales experience from high growth environment.
Relevant business development experience in the area of functional ingredients in supplements/nutraceuticals and / or functional foods
Active network in the segment of supplements/nutraceuticals and / or functional foods.
Self-driven and results oriented; must have good exposure working with matrix teams
Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills
Strong commercial acumen
Able to handle complex scenarios and managing competing priorities
Capability in networking through LinkedIn and F2F events
Familiarity with Sales Excellence Tools - Sales force, account planning, opportunity management and value based selling.
Willing to travel up to 70% (when travelling is possible)

Promote and execute the Frieslandcampina Ingredients business strategy in the region Asia Pacific for segment Adult Nutrition, consisting of Medical, Performance and Active Nutrition. Given the specific ambition, this position is focusing on business development in the area of Supplements, Nutraceuticals and functional foods.
- Lead in executing a sales story and value proposition for key customers, highlighting Frieslandcampina Ingredients competencies and capabilities to promote Adult Nutrition / Concept Solutions and Competences
- Integrate insights & objective data from the market that translate and deliver into recommendations for our customers
- Promote key Frieslandcampina Ingredients competencies (Technical ,Concepts & Consumer Insights competencies), internally and externally, by implementing clear, concise and consistent value proposition, supported with reasons to believe, via marketing materials
- Define and deliver the Budget for the assigned product / market category within Asia Pacific ,specifically for applications in Functional Foods and Dietary Supplements
