Global HR Privacy Officer

As our Global HR Privacy Officer you will strategically support and lead the global HR organization in further building and maintaining FrieslandCampina’s privacy program. You will lead the global HR Privacy Officer network (a network of HR Privacy Officers in our Operating Companies) and closely collaborate with stakeholders from e.g. HR, Legal and Cybersecurity.

What we ask

  • A completed Master’s degree in law (or equivalent);
  • 6+ years of relevant privacy experience in e.g. a law firm or (international) organization;
  • Deep understanding of GDPR and other relevant data protection laws and regulations and ‘translating’ these to practical policies and guidance;
  • Experience with conducting and supervising data protection impact assessments ;
  • Familiarity with the basics of information security, including security standards and certifications;
  • Preferably a CIPP/E and/or CIPM certification;
  • Preferably experience with global privacy programs at an international organization;
  • Solid communication skills (both written and oral);
  • Excellent written and spoken English required; decent command of written and spoken Dutch preferred;
  • The role is for a maximum of 24 hours a week.

Vacancy description

  • Setting standards and implementing privacy policies and guidelines for the global HR community;
  • Representing the global HR community in FrieslandCampina’s central Privacy Office. The Privacy Office is our central team that supports our organisation on privacy matters. It consists of senior experts from a.o. cybersecurity, legal, marketing and procurement;
  • Guiding and advising the HR leadership team on relevant privacy aspects;
  • Creating awareness and executing training in for the global HR community;
  • Leading the global HR Privacy Officers network;
  • Initiating and leading decision making on complex HR specific Privacy issues;
