Materials Planner
The material planner is an essential part of the SC planning team and ensures the flow of raw and packaging (direct & indirect) materials necessary for all production operations. Planners ensure that the company never runs out of necessary manufacturing materials. He/She may be required to perform physically intensive work, such as surveying inventory and inspecting the production line. He/She typically works regular business hours but may be required to come in on evenings or weekends when working on large orders or to address production issues.

First degree in any numerate discipline § Good understanding of the APO-SNP environment. § Ability to provide robust plans, solving the short term issues. § Knowledge of supply chain management, planning and inventory management principles such as S&OP, Rough-Cut Capacity Planning, SAP, MPS and MRP; § Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Supply Planning Team in relation to RM/PM procurement process and system data

- Production Flow Management: · Ensure the steady flow of materials necessary for operating a manufacturing line. · Carry-out inter-company materials (RMs & PMs) stock transfer requirement activities (incl. subcontracting, etc). · Manage regular materials’ call-offs from local and global suppliers (conversion of PRs to POs).
- Inventory Control & Management: · Keep track of production volumes and purchasing expectations to ensure the right volume of materials is always available. · Work closely with shipping/clearing team to manage/flag schedule changes or cancellations of shipment orders.
- S&OP: · Participate in weekly operational supply meetings. · Participate in assigned projects as will relate to innovations, materials planning. · Provide relevant support to the Production & Materials Planner in this area.
- Stakeholders Management: · Participate in regular meetings to discuss plant performance, materials availability and capacities with plants periodically. · Collaborate and communicate constructively with the relevant stakeholders (supply network planners, procurement, quality, research & development, production schedulers, project owners/leads, external parties etc)
- Reporting: · Prepare periodic reports according to company requirements to provide information and analytical support for decision-making. · Prepare and provide weekly input into Operational S&OP meetings.
