R&D Development Specialist Encaps, C&T liquids
Do you want to play a crucial role in developing new products and applications for our Kievit brand for our professional customers? For our R&D Professional team in Wageningen, we are looking for a creative Development Specialist Encaps.
You’ll develop and optimize encapsulated fat powders for beverages applications, tailored to customer needs. With a strong foundation in food science and technology, a creative, hands-on mindset and customer focus you will support New Product Development and Renovation projects to deliver business growth. As the linking pin in product development, you will work together with various stakeholders across FrieslandCampina, in R&D , Marketing and Sales, Operations, Technology, QA.
Was wir erwarten
- MSc in Food Science &Technology.
- Entry level, 0-2 years of experience in product development in Food industry, preferably B2B.
- Expertise in dairy technology (spray drying, emulsions, food physics and chemistry).
- Experience with beverage applications.
- Hands-on lab and pilot plant experience.
- Digital savvy.
- Curious, creative and quality driven.
- Strong skills in experimental design, data analysis, and reporting.
- Customer-focused mindset with commercial awareness.
- Good communication skills, team worker.

Stellenbeschreibung
As a Development Specialist Encaps C&T liquid you will:
- Contribute to the development and implementation of new product innovations and applications.
- Work on improvement of existing products, processes and applications (contingency, value engineering, taste, shelf life).
- Carry out recipe transfers between factories.
- Responsible to implement new and improved products in our factories according to defined technical requirements such as product functionality, sensory properties, shelf life, robust production, compliance, cost price.
- Initiate and organize product and application tests on various scales (lab, pilot, factory), including analysis and interpretation of results incorporated in well-written reports.
- Working very closely together with our technical assistants, giving guidance to their work.
- Present findings to relevant stakeholders and peers.
- Work together with various stakeholders in R&D and across the company, including marketing, sales, supply chain, research, QA, technology & Procurement.
