Research Analyst - Preferred Candidate
We are looking for an enthusiastic research analyst who would like to join the FrieslandCampina R&D Nutrition Team. The team delivers scientific evidence on the impact of nutrition on overall health. As part of this team you will be working in our life science laboratory in Wageningen on in vitro digestions and cell based models. Ce que nous demandons
- Has a Bachelor degree (HBO/HLO) in Life Sciences or related field.
- Has practical experience in cell biology and microbiology is preferred.
- Manages and analyses data independently.
- Is comfortable to work in a fast paced and rapidly changing environment in multiple projects.
- Is responsible and takes the initiative for projects and organizational tasks for the laboratory e.g. lab safety.
- Has good communication skills, oral and written (good command of English language).
- Is a team player with a hands-on attitude, with the following key competences: analytical, eagerness to understand and learn, enthusiastic, curious, flexible, result-oriented, thinks-along, structured and also able to work independently.
- Has a hand on mentality.

You will be part of the Exploration Team of the R&D Nutrition Department and work closely together with experts of this team. Besides your direct colleagues, you will also work together with disciplines across FrieslandCampina.
Your tasks and responsibilities as research analyst will be amongst others:
- Planning, designing, and preparation of experiments with in vitro digestion models, cell culture.
- Delivering high quality results, interpreting results, documenting outcomes in reports.
- Managing data sets and performing data analyses.
- Being responsible for good functioning of the laboratory.
Experience in the following laboratory techniques is required:
- In vitro digestion.
- Cell culturing (including airways, gut and immune cells).
- (Cell-based) biochemical assays.
- Experience with qPCR and/or dPCR is an advantage.

You will work in the R&D Nutrition team. This team consists of 30 members, of which a part is based in Wageningen, a part in Singapore, and a part in China. The R&D Nutrition team works together with other Research teams, Product Development teams and Marketing teams to: study health effects and thereby substantiate our products and support communication. As part of the R&D Nutrition Team you will be working in our R&D centre based in Wageningen. In the R&D centre, up-to date laboratories are available with state-of-the-art equipment. You will be part of a team of enthusiastic and dedicated life science research analysts. You will be working in projects consisting of a mix of research analysts and researchers.
