What we ask
University or college degree in finance or accounting (preferably with a relevant postgraduate qualification; eg. chartered accountant, CPA, ACCA, chartered auditor, etc.)
At least 5-8 years of experience in full scale accounting or General Ledger accounting at a multinational company or an SSC environment
At least 1-3 years of experience in people management
Fluency in English is a must
Strong stakeholder management and consultancy skills
Results-oriented and customer-oriented
IFRS and/or other EU GAAP experience is an advantage
Proactive team player eager to continuously improve processes

Vacancy description
Full-scale people management of a team of 8-12 experienced accountants dealing with general ledger accounting and reporting
Organize and optimize own team’s performance and ensure that the execution of Record to Report processes are in line with all relevant guidelines
Ensure that processes run optimally and financial reports are accurate and compliant to procedures and legislation
Implement changes according to the objectives of the Service Centre
Ensure quality and timeliness of Record to Report processes
Ensure process integration and strong relationships with interdependent functions
Ensure proper staffing and development of department personnel
Contribute to the development of departmental policies and training documents
Contribute to the department process and system improvement initiatives;
Maintain compliance with internal and external controls, regulations
Ensure that R2R reports are produced in an accurate and timely manner
