FrieslandCampina Professional (FC-P) is a customer-led organization, unleashing the full potential of the B2B world. FC-P aspires to become a world-class, global leader in dairy and plant-based value-added, ingredients and solutions, by servicing direct and indirect customers.
Expansion of our solutions business, in which the machine and product are closely related, is recognized as one of the levers to realize this ambition. A new Systems organization is formed to carry out this responsibility for launching, driving and supporting existing and new system solutions in the markets across the globe. This separate organization has been set up as a recognition that the way of working in such a solution/service organization is different from the standard (B2B)business in FC-P.
Our solutions consist out of an appliance, product and a lock-in technology and are designed to solve specific customer pains across various channels and use moments.
As technical project lead for our system development projects, you will make ensure our innovations will be delivered to our customers timely and with high quality. Next to our FrieslandCampina Systems team members, you will work in close cooperation with appliance and technology development partners and our FrieslandCampina factories.
What we ask
- A Bachelor / Master degree, preferably in the area of System engineering, Mechanical or Electronics engineering or equivalent.
- Ideally 5 - 10 years experience in leading the technical projects in a relevant multidisciplinary systems context with external partners.
- Understands systems engineering, requirements management and DfSS.
- Proven track record in developing complex new products with electronical and mechanical components in the market, for either a B2C or a B2B environment.
- You are able to motivate a multidisciplinary project team consisting of internal and external resources to successful results.
- Knowledge of machine development that covers evaluation, selection, installation, validation, innovation of new equipment and improvement of existing lines is a plus.
- Skilled in project management and co-operation skills with different levels, both within the organization and outside the organization.
- A real connector and driver, showing a strong affection with packaging and system appliance development.
- Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skill. Ability to deal with ambiguity and stakeholder management.
- Flexibility to travel regularly (20%).

Our compensation benefits for this position will be the following:
- Your salary will be based on the weighting of your job, your experience and your training.
- Fulltime work week of 38 hours per week.
- 25 days of leave per year, with the opportunity to buy/sell up to 5 days per year.
- An additional short-term incentive plan (Bonus) of 15% (at target).

Main responsibilities:
- Steers innovation-focused projects. Orchestrates cross-functional collaboration, seamlessly merging design, engineering, and stakeholder input for integral solutions.
- Ensure project adherence to scope, timeline, and quality, manage resources and mitigate risks, guaranteeing timely and effective delivery of high-quality solutions.
- Drive advancements and coordinate multifunctional efforts to develop cutting-edge technical solutions, enhancing user experiences and elevating the competitive edge.
- Be the connector between the external manufacturing partners and FrieslandCampina’s internal system experts.
- Show thorough project management, including stakeholder management mapping, planning, integrating, alignment steps.
- Manage and mitigate project risks, resources and budget.
- Coordinate the activities of sub- team members, monitor progress and compliance to the project execution plan.

The Systems organization will be led by the Business Director Systems. This position is a part of one of the 5 pillars within the organization. In this role you will report to the Development and Technology Manager. You will closely work together with the Business Development team within Friesland Campina as well as with the Operations teams.
