Sales Manager Mexico

The Country Manager Mexico (must live in Mexico, preferably Mexico City) role seems like the right fit for you! You will be responsible for our Cheese Mexico business on a daily basis and will expand our distribution and presence with our local business partners.
You will be the driving force that brings the business to the next level, building on the strong heritage of our El Gallo Azul and Kroon brands. As a true business entrepreneur, you help the Americas team deliver on its strong growth ambition!
What we ask
To be a successful in this position, you are/have:
- Relevant background in sales, marketing, and or business development
- Academic education, Master’s Degree
- A minimum of 10 years of relevant working experience, preferably in FMCG
- Distributor, Key Account Management & Route to Market experience
- Fluency in Spanish and English
- Strong communication and relationship skills
- Strong negotiation skills and proven experience
- Analytical skills and finance management experience
- Can set a strategy and put it into clear action and milestones
- Organization skills, working with tight deadlines internally and externally
- The Ability to work in a multi-disciplinary organization
- Creative thinker with a pragmatic mindset and solution-oriented
- Hands-on but able to keep focus on the bigger picture
- The right mindset: Proactive, flexible, customer-oriented, entrepreneurial, business-minded & a true team player!

In this position, you will be responsible for:
Sales development
• Top-line results of the portfolio
• Pricing and value chain
• Forecasting & stock monitoring
• Monthly Reporting
• Contract management
Distributor Management
• Manage day-to-day relationships with business partners
• Development of annual plan & target setting with distributors
• KPI setting and monitoring
• Monthly Business Review and progress meeting with distributors
• Developing distributor’s in-market execution capabilities
• Roll out key initiatives in the market
Route to Market
• Development of Route to Market assessment and gap analysis, working with distributor to close gaps
• Identifying and developing new opportunities, e.g. Foodservice channel
Strategy development
• Development of strategic growth plans for regions
• Business case development for key initiatives
• Yearly development of commercial plan and budget
Activate Mexico team
• Take a leading role in the Mexico Business Focused team, strongly collaborate with KAM, Trade Marketing, Finance, Customer Support and Demand Planning
• Enhance FrieslandCampinas's knowledge and capabilities of the team

The team is spread over different locations: Paramus, NJ (Americas Head office), Miami, FL, the Netherlands, Sao Paulo, and Mexico City.
Mexico, a key market in the Americas portfolio, is a strategic focus for FrieslandCampina's growth. With strong heritage brands like El Gallo Azul (mainly in Yucatan) and Kroon (mainly in Mexico City), we have a robust ambition to expand our presence nationwide. This is why we are transitioning from an agent model to establishing a local FrieslandCampina Mexico entity and team.
