FrieslandCampina is looking for a highly skilled and driven Source-to-Contract Buyer to join our dynamic procurement team. In this role, you will take responsibility for executing sourcing plans and implementing category sourcing strategies for global procurement. What we ask
- Education: A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain, Procurement, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum 3-5 years in procurement at a multinational company or Shared Services organization, with a strong understanding of the end-to-end Source-to-Pay process.
- Skills:
- Proven experience in executing RFx events and managing e-sourcing tools (e.g., Ariba, Keelvar, SAP).
- Strong negotiation, stakeholder management, and supplier management skills.
- Ability to analyze, conclude, and summarize sourcing results accurately and quickly.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (Dutch or any additional European language is a plus).
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and make decisions at your level.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.
- A continuous improvement mindset, with a strong resilience and change agility.

Vacancy description
As a Source-to-Contract Buyer at FrieslandCampina, you will be responsible for the execution of sourcing strategies within the global procurement framework. Your role will include leading tender events, negotiating with suppliers, and ensuring compliance in the supplier selection process. You will manage the end-to-end sourcing process, from strategy development to contract management, while working closely with category managers to ensure successful execution. You will also help drive process improvements and ensure that procurement strategies align with business goals, delivering optimal value for FrieslandCampina.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute global sourcing plans based on category/business procurement strategies.
- Set up and lead RFx events, ensuring relevant commercial and legal documentation is included.
- Lead supplier negotiations and drive best-in-class sourcing results.
- Ensure full compliance with supplier safety, sustainability, and quality standards.
- Collaborate with Corporate Legal for contract management and documentation.
- Track team KPIs and contribute to continuous improvement within the sourcing process.
- Drive the use of preferred suppliers and manage the resolution of procurement-related issues.
