The Master Planner is a key position in our Delhi, New York manufacturing process ensuring our production schedule is meeting our customer needs, have the ability to easily transition between internal and external demands to accommodate for unexpected changes as well as taking into account inventory of raw materials and production capacity.  This is a challenging role that requires the ideal candidate to be able to navigate unexpected changes to demand and material inventory, identify gaps and opportunities for optimization with the goal of providing superior customer service.

Vacancy description



Supply Planning: Develop planning for the assigned part of the supply chain of the OpCo and/or customers/suppliers, balancing demand, inventory and production capacity and acquire approval.  Key elements are Rough-Cut Capacity Planning (RCCP), determining logistical parameters and a horizon of 18 months. 


Inventory:  Keep track of and controls inventories and ensure compliance between administrative inventory and systems of logistical service providers. Drive needed changes to reduce working capital while maintaining customer service levels. 


Requirements & Needs:  Collect, assess and evaluate the received input and planning parameters from internal and external parties as input for the assigned supply planning. 


Monitoring Planning:  Monitor the realized performance compared to the formulated planning and, where necessary, set priorities and/or alter the plan through consultation.  

Analysis:  Draw up requested and unrequested quantitative analyses of the realization of assigned supply chain planning. Present issues in the S&OP meetings and ensure decision making. 


Management Information:  Provide insights at request or at own initiative regarding quantitative and qualitative developments by means of periodical and ad hoc reports and/or analysis, based on reporting guidelines. Propose scenario’s for changes to the production schedule.


Continuous Improvement: Observe and evaluate bottlenecks and opportunities in supply chain related (work) processes, procedures and/or systems, and ensure implementation of improvements after approval. 


Projects:  Participate in projects, within the project management guidelines.
