The position of Demand Planner needs to be an equal partner for Sales and Supply Chain Management and capable to challenge the other disciplines in the S&OP process.
What we ask
At least a Bachelor’s degree, preferably in the area of Business Administration, Supply Chain, or Logistics.
At least 3 years of relevant experience in a similar role within the B2B environment
Successful track record within S&OP
Knowledge of demand/supply planning systems (SAP-(APO) and/or MicroStrategy is an advantage)
Excellent communication skills on all levels in English (Dutch and/or German is an advantage)

Accurate forecasting for an assigned part of the sales demand for the global DFE Pharma portfolio
Manage the operational demand related issues
Validate, analyze and challenge the forecast in order to structurally improve the global demand plan
Initiate and prepare pre-demand review meetings with the various sales teams
Frequent alignment with supply chain to safeguard the supply of the planned demand and have a pro-active attitude to solve potential supply issues
S&OP process and collect, translate and evaluate the received market data from internal (sales, marketing, finance, supply planning) and external (customer, market development) parties as input for the demand planning
Being a sparring partner for sales and marketing in order to challenge and validate forecasts
Monitor & analyze the performance of the demand related KPIs
Monitor the realized performance compared to the formulated planning and set priorities or have the plan altered based on challenges with the sales teams
Observe and evaluate bottlenecks
Key user S&OP
Identify opportunities and improvement actions in demand planning related processes, planning systematics, procedures, and/or systems, and ensure implementation of improvements after approval as a key user for relevant tools
Provide support with determining safety stock through analyses and advice
Participate in assigned projects, which are supply chain/ cross-functional related
