Content Marketing Manager
This is a B2B content marketing role within the Ingredients Adult Nutrition Segment Marketing team, as part of the focused approach of FrieslandCampina to nutrition throughout adulthood, with full focus on our B2B brand, Biotis®. Biotis® is a B2B science-backed brand for health benefit driven ingredient solutions.
Your contribution is key to development of market leadership in functional food ingredients, delivering Health benefits globally to consumers, through collaboration with B2B customers (Brand Owners in predominantly functional foods & drinks and dietary supplements). With a B2C angle in mind we focus on increasing awareness of our solutions in the markets for performance, active & medical nutrition (B2B2C mindset), especially around the role of functional dairy, in particular proteins and prebiotics.
What we ask
- Bachelor master level degree or equivalent, preferably in Marketing, Communications, Journalism or related field
- Fluent/native-level English, as all content is developed in English for global delivery
- Minimum 6 years’ experience creating B2B content for the web (and offline) and growing a social digital audience
- Editorial mindset that seeks to understand what B2B audiences consume and how to create it
- You must be an excellent technical writer, someone who understands how to frame a message in a clear, concise, and compelling way, science -based
- Ability to analyse and present content and social media performance
- Experience with Google analytics, and the top social channels including LinkedIn
- Understands the basic best practices of the main social media channels, which content and approaches work on each and why
- Excellent inter-personal communication skills
- Able to work in matrix and network organization with a multi-disciplinary approach

- Salary between €4,357 and €5,914 per month, depending on knowledge and experience (full-time);
- Full-time workweek of 38 hours, 4% year-end bonus, 10% performance bonus, and a market-standard pension;

- 200 hours of annual leave, the option to buy or sell 40 extra hours, and 8% holiday allowance;

Vacancy description
- Accountable for the development of all B2B content marketing for the Biotis® brand initiatives to drive traffic, engagement, leads, that deliver sales and customer retention. This includes the writing of content as well as use and management of agencies to deliver the appropriate content.
- Collaboration across key functions to deliver an effective B2B content marketing strategy and editorial plan to meet the business objectives for the brand
- Editorial requirements include basic SEO understanding, B2B content categorisation and structure, content development, distribution and measurement. Development of editorial governance so that content is consistent with our brand voice, style and tone.
- Supporting and developing content for global Marketing campaigns
- Editorial calendar and organisation workflows must be developed and managed.
- B2B Channel management of digital content hubs and all supporting social channels including email / newsletter distribution in partnership with the B2B Digital marketing manager.
- Measurement and optimisation of the program will be required on a regular and ongoing basis
- Management of B2B creative resources including designers, writers, and other agency personnel, together with marketing communications
- Integration of content programs with B2B brand campaigns to drive brand to demand.
- Manage the Content Calendar and A&P budget together with the Biotis® Marketing lead and B2B marketing communication manager
You will report to the Global Marketing Lead Biotis®, with daily work coordinated and executed in close collaboration with the members of the segment marketing team and Global Marketing Director. You also engage closely with the sales, development, research, marketing communications, regional sales offices, and finance teams.
