Category Procurement Manager - HR

As Category Procurement Manager HR, You will be leading the transformation of our Total Workforce Management procurement deploying Master Services Provider and Vendor Management System setup, into becoming more strategic, data driven and efficient. You will identify and realize opportunities in the HR domain (contingent workforce, travel, mobility, L&D) to reduce overall total costs, secure contingency and drive open innovation from the market. Besides these sourcing activities you will drive Integrated Category management in close alignment with the business, set up framework agreements and secure a proper category management.

 

You will also be the key partner to HR Services stakeholders developing strategic sourcing strategies and driving preferred vendors relationship, with focus on the TCO benefit for FrieslandCampina Globally. In all, this category covers an impact on a spend of around 226 mio Euro yearly.

Vacancy description

  • Category Management: Design, align, review and manage the integrated category strategies for HR. Manage and execute the development and review process with internal stakeholders and sufficient external input. Ability to develop and introduce program concepts beyond individual tenders.
  • Strategic Sourcing Management: Co-Design, execute and implement effective strategic sourcing plans and support development of PSE colleague to drive this process. Evaluate sourcing approach & adjust to market developments.
  • SRM , Innovation & relevant market developments. Setup, maintain and manage the SRM process and governance with selected suppliers, to realize fact-based performance management and room for improvement and innovations. Develop and actively maintain understanding of relevant market trends and developments and how they could bring value to RFC.
  • Thought Leadership: Share, maintain and develop further own strategic and tactical knowledge in HR domain. Align with stakeholders and take them along on new opportunities. Make sure the right S2P buying channels are set up and maintained.
  • Financial Management & ICF: Maintain and develop a solid understanding of HR spend, cost impact, cost drivers and should-cost models. Contribute to the cost price & budget of our entities.
  • Stakeholder Management: Recognize, connect and remain connected to stakeholders. Build balanced relationships with trust and performance.

The Corporate Procurement department takes care of all purchasing. The team operates across their global offices and factories, across all functions and business groups. Roles at the Corporate Procurement department generally involve a lot of stakeholder management and supplier relationship management.

 

The core tasks of the procurement team are:

  • The sourcing of all materials and services across the value chain to ensure FrieslandCampina delivers its products and grows its business
  • Interacting about ideas and opportunities with internal and external stakeholders, to link outside opportunities to business needs
  • Driving the sustainability of materials and energy while ensuring that they are competitive and enabling growth in new products and services
