The story of FrieslandCampina and our relationship with milk began in 1871. This was the year the farmers decided to join forces in local cooperative dairy factories. By doing so, they could strengthen their market position and ensure sales of their milk. Today FrieslandCampina, headquartered in Amersfoort, NL is one of the world’s largest dairy companies. Every day, we provide millions of consumers all over the world with the valuable nutrition from milk. Not only in the form of milk itself, but with all kinds of dairy products we make from milk.

 

FrieslandCampina has been bringing cheese into the US for over half a century. Over the past 2 years we have established a regional operations office in Paramus, NJ and a sales team located throughout the US. We are excited to be expanding our team to assist with increasing our branded presence in the marketplace through building partnerships with our retailers and distributors to offer a variety of cheeses and dairy products to our customers for every occasion.

National Account Manager (NAM) is a critical link between the success of FrieslandCampina Consumer Dairy North America and our Partners. The National Account Manager will act as our liaison, consultant, and coach for our Retail Partners. The National Account Manager must have a complete understanding of the Retail Partner’s needs, Route to Market (RTM), goals, and value-added services to the consumers.

 

The ideal candidate strives to be the first point of contact for their customer, Category Captain. The candidate must have a servant leader mind set, with a desire to see their customer succeed.

 

  • Own and Foster Retail Partner Relationships
    • Category Teams
    • Division Teams
    • Field Teams
    • Logistics

 

  • Retail Partner Meetings and Training
    • Department Team – Once per quarter
    • Division Team – Twice Annually
    • Field Team – Twice Annually

 

  • Develop, implement, and monitor Retail Partner Programs:
    • Specific Retailer Programs by Division
    • Branded Growth Programs – Hero SKU’s
    • Own Brand Growth Programs
    • Promotional Analysis

 

  • Report Out Retail Partner Revenue and Volume Results vs. Goal
    • Total Business
    • Division/Banner Results

 

 

 

  • Own Retailer Partner Portal and Data Maintenance
    • Reporting
    • Product Updates
    • Disputes
