The story of FrieslandCampina and our relationship with milk began in 1871. This was the year the farmers decided to join forces in local cooperative dairy factories. By doing so, they could strengthen their market position and ensure sales of their milk. Today FrieslandCampina, headquartered in the Netherlands is one of the world’s largest dairy companies. Every day, we provide millions of consumers all over the world with the valuable nutrition from milk. Not only in the form of milk itself, but with all kinds of dairy products we make from milk.

 

FrieslandCampina has been bringing cheese into the US for over half a century. Over the past 2 years we have established a regional operations office in Paramus, NJ and a sales team located throughout the US. We are excited to be expanding our team to assist with increasing our branded presence in the marketplace through building partnerships with our retailers and distributors to offer a variety of cheeses and dairy products to our customers for every occasion.

This role will integrate data insights in our selling story to engage our Retailers and Distributors. The Channel Develoment Manager will partner with our Sales and Marketing team to provide our Retailers and Distributors with crucial data to drive their decision making. This highly visible role will work cross-functionally reporting directly to the Vice President of Sales.

 

The ideal candidate will be problem solver that analyzes data for customer and internal presentations and initiatives. Bring experience utilizing category data, customer data, consumer data, and route to market analyses to assist the Sales team with creating value added partners with retailer and distributors. This role will also spearhead cross-functional project management across FrieslandCampina Consumer Dairy North America.

 

  • Data Analyses
    • Provide analytical support for category management projects and initiatives utilizing various CPG data sources and tools
    • Responsible for quality control of data sources and ensuring accuracy of deliverables, often requiring engagement with other BI associates and data/tool vendors
    • Build, update and refresh weekly and monthly dashboards
    • Participate in the development of sales presentations incorporating syndicated and other sources of data that addresses business issues and creates engaging stories for our clients
    • Keep abreast of clients KPI's, strategies, innovation and other important information to align the internal strategy

 

  • Customer Presentations
    • Prepare customer PowerPoint presentations utilizing data to tell an engaging story
    • Ability to attend customer presentations bring your story through data

  • Master’s Degree preferred
  • 5 – 7 years CPG (food & beverage); some Sales a plus
  • 2 - 3 years project management and data analysis
  • Experience working with IRI and ACNielsen
  • Proven ability to connect data with the sales process and customer relationship building
